Sloer Releases Second Single ‘Slaughter’

sloer have been gaining attention over the past few months following their debut single release crawling (Oct 2025) and series of small intimate shows across the lower South Island including, Wunderbar in Lyttleton, Pioneer Hall in Pt Chalmers, Pearl Diver in Dunedin and the iconic Grainstore Gallery in Oamaru. crawling is a firm Radio 1 favorite having spent its first few weeks in their Top 11.
sloer’s second release slaughter continues along this path. Lyricist and singer Sophie Askin is brief when describing slaughter saying, “For me it’s about feeling like you’re losing your mind however I prefer letting the audience make up their own mind.”
