Jan Preston is delighted to be returning to North Island NZ in over March and April, with public shows in Wellington and Lower Hutt. Followed by festival appearances in Cambridge, Tauranga and Waiheke Island.<\/p>\n
Jan has now created her own blues\/boogie style trademarked by exceptional piano playing together with her vibrant singing and songwriting over the last 50 years.<\/p>\n
She also composes soundtracks, including music for her sister Dame Gaylene Preston\u2019s films.<\/p>\n
Together with her drummer Mike Pullman, Jan\u2019s boogie groove is magnetic. Prepare to move and tap your feet!<\/p>\n
Her shows on this visit will highlight the recent 50 Years In Pianoland<\/em> album.<\/p>\n Here the irrepressible Preston comes clean on her longstanding and sometimes bumpy road to piano stardom.
