The Voyage were an Auckland based metallic hardcore band active from 2010 to early 2013.<\/p>\n
Formed by vocalist James Harris and guitarist Hugh Collins, the pair wanted to play a brand of hardcore punk while leaning strongly into their love of metal. The band released two EPs and a split.<\/p>\n
Influences included Converge, Hatebreed, Terror, Blacklisted, Cursed, The Burial, Metallica, Slayer and Neurosis.<\/p>\n
The final lineup was James Harris on vocals, Hugh Collins on guitar, Mike Smith on guitar, Lee Waddingham on bass and Josh Sagar on drums.<\/p>\n
