Australian ‘Industrial Synth Crust’ outfit Schkeuditzer Kreuz (a.k.a. Kieren Hills) has just released their third full-length studio LP, Swan Grinder, and is about to embark on the second Schkeuditzer Kreuz tour across Europe, from September to October 2025. Kieren says of the new album:

“I took the name Swan Grinder from a swan-shaped pepper grinder I saw. It is about destruction, and death of all things: taking all that is beautiful and worthwhile in this world, and grinding it into dust. That is the album, but it is also about the mess in my head – the noise, the violence, the chaos that rattles around in my brain, looking for a way out. Swan Grinder is me finding that way out.”

The album has also been preceded by the lead single and video, Sirens of Death.

Tour dates are currently booked through Central Europe, South Caucasus, Spain, and UK, with more to be confirmed. Kieren adds:

“Once again, I’m branching out into places I have never been. Last time I was contacted by someone from Spain asking me to play, but I couldn’t make it work, so this time we have put together 5 shows over there.  And then I was contacted by someone in Tbilisi asking me to come down that way as well. I changed up a big section of the tour to make that work, it is an opportunity I didn’t want to miss.”

Swan Grinder is the third full-length Schkeuditzer Kreuz album, mastered at The Cage by ATTRITION‘s Martin Bowes, released 30 August 2025, and available from Bandcamp now in vinyl LP and digital download formats, with Double CD edition (including bonus remix CD) to follow. After touring Europe from September-October, Schkeuditzer Kreuz returns to Australia and New Zealand for live dates between November 2025 and January 2026.
