Rhythm and Alps Drops Schedule, Map and Reveals New Additions

With just under two weeks to go until the gates open, Rhythm and Alps has officially released the full stage schedule and festival map, giving festival-goers their first look at what’s shaping up to be one of the biggest editions yet, the 15th anniversary of Rhythm and Alps!
Alongside the schedule comes a wave of exciting updates, including brand-new stages, takeovers, major upgrades, new food and bar offerings, and stacked sponsor activations across the site.
Tickets are moving quickly, with demand ramping up as the countdown to New Year begins. Festival organisers are urging fans to secure tickets before Christmas to avoid missing out.
The Campers Stage schedule for December 29 has been announced featuring local DJs Double Cream Brie, Foxdrop, Baddie and P Digsss. Three-day festival and camping tickets are still available!
The brand-new Red Bull Eclipse Stage joins the Rhythm and Alps lineup, bringing a striking new fusion of light, sound, and atmosphere to the alpine setting and hosting high-energy takeovers from Collekt and Suune. On December 30, the Collekt takeover brings groove-heavy, high-energy house and underground sounds from artists who have built strong reputations across New Zealand and Australia. The lineup includes Antz, Cash, Connor Tomoana, Flygrrl, Gordo & Teej, Jack Ritchie, Knox, and Parry. On December 31, Suune & Friends deliver a bass-heavy journey into the new year, featuring some of New Zealand’s most electrifying drum & bass and bass music artists, with sounds ranging from deep rollers and neuro to liquid and jump-up. The lineup includes Bad Birds, Bare Up, Bevel, Catch-22, Deep Notion, Descendants, Fairbrother, Indecisive, inmotion, Miss Jane, Rinza, Suune, Thief, and Touch Point.
XCommunicate will also take over the Log Cabin on December 31, closing out the year with raw, underground energy. Their set promises boundary-pushing bass and left-field sounds with performances from Communicate, Cyril Orson*, DirdyGerdi, Miss Batsy, Rare Specimens, and Rayza x Darren Bailey.
The Alpine Arena Main Stage has undergone a major upgrade, unveiling a fresh new look for the first time in ten years. Festival-goers can expect immersive experiences across the site, including the brand-new Speight’s Tavern, complete with bean bags and the perfect chill-out zone to relax. ZM Fitness Festie will host an epic HIIT workout on December 31 at 10:00am to kick-start the New Year with a high-energy session, while the Red Bull VIP Bar provides exclusive views of the main stage and premium drinks.
R&A Eats in the Main Arena offers a wide variety of festival food, including Chur Fish and Chips, Cosmic, Empire Chicken, Francesca’s Pizza Trailer, Hungry Owls, Italian Way, Old Mates Smokehouse, Stoked, Sweet Spot NZ, The Black Cat Wānaka, and Wild Az. The Vendor Village at the campsite features All Good Bagels, Francesca’s Pizza Trailer, Mackenzie Coffee, One Smart Coffee, Sidekick, The Dumpling Lady, Wild Az, and Wingin’ It.
Vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options are available across the site.

With new stages, refreshed production, stacked lineups, and tickets selling fast, Rhythm and Alps 2025 is set to deliver an unforgettable New Year’s experience in the heart of the South Island. Gates open at 12pm on the 29th, and 10am on the 30th & 31st, Tickets are on sale now, and festival organisers are urging fans not to wait until it’s too late.
