Te Kooti Brotherhood was a melodic hardcore band from Auckland.
The group was active from 2011 to 2016, and released two full lengths and an EP. They played an eclectic style of hardcore that was influenced by the likes Comeback Kid, Have Heart, Touche Amore and Radiohead. The band played around 30 shows across the North Island.
In April 2016 they played their final show in the same place they played their first – in the “Art Room” of Zeal West.
The final lineup included Ben Steel on vocals, Christian Parker on guitar, Hugh Collins on guitar, Reuben Jacobs on drums and Mike Smith on bass.
