Terrified Unleashes Debut Release with ‘Knifed / Hivemind’
Conceptualised at the height of winter in Waikato, Terrified emerges as a bold new force in heavy metal. This collaborative project brings together four seasoned musicians: Harry Mordecai, Kayne McVeigh (Crown The Heathen, ex-Seas of Conflict), Kody Naidoo (Seas of Conflict), and Nic Martin (Devilskin, ex-Seas of Conflict). United by a shared vision, the group handles all writing, recording, and mixing duties in-house.
Their debut release, Knifed / Hivemind, is a raw and unapologetic statement of intent. Drawing influence from all corners of the metal spectrum – and beyond – Terrified prioritises hard-hitting dynamics and genuine enjoyment over technical prowess or tedious production. The result is a sound that’s as visceral as it is uncompromising.
