Bronny Releases ‘Walking To Luci’s House’

Walking to Luci’s House is the debut EP from Wellington artist Bronny, releasing today, 27 February 2026. Written and recorded between January 2025 and January 2026, the project documents a full year of emotional aftermath.
“Luci” represents a Runway romance, someone that you saw a few times and never saw again. For the past 4 years, Bronny has completed a long walk around Wellington, always passing “Luci’s” House during the hike. Several of the EP’s songs were written following that walk in early 2026, turning distance into structure.
The tracklist unfolds chronologically:
The Light Caught on Her introduces Luci as a figure momentarily illuminated – light serving as recognition. Distances confronts the rumours and emotional fallout, while still holding onto the line “you changed me”. The third track is set a year later, when time has passed, but the attachment has not, leading to doubt and fear of being a hopeless romantic.
It’ll Be Ok becomes the emotional centre – fragile reassurance without full resolution. Closing track Cadence (2024) marks the quiet decision to stop trying to repair what cannot be repaired.
Sonically, the EP blends slowcore restraint and soft shoegaze haze, shifting drum tones, washed guitars, and spacious pacing. drawing on Duster, Birth Day, and Pinegrove as musical inspiration. The production remains intentionally intimate, reflecting its setting: a bedroom and the quiet corners of a college environment.
The project was entirely self-produced and released via Glasshead Records.
