Lavvender Releases New Single ‘Tend To Your Wounds’

Rising indie/folk-pop artist Lavvender has today released her heartfelt new single Tend To Your Wounds. Known for her emotive voice and thoughtful storytelling, Lavvender blends the warmth of indie-pop with the honesty of folk and the grit of alternative rock, creating a sound that is both intimate and compelling.
Tend To Your Wounds is a tender exploration of heartbreak, healing, and self-preservation. Carried by raw, vulnerable lyrics – “tend to your wounds or else scars will stay / fix up the edges they’re starting to fray” – the track captures the fragile moment when love unravels and the pain of letting someone down.
Lavvender has been described as an artist with “touches of alt-rock intertwined with the sweetness of indie/folk-pop; a mixture of sugar, spice, and everything nice” (Cara Loughran, 95bFM). Her performances are marked by “a strong voice that has loads of emotion and is combined with a sweetness” (Kev Rowland, Muzic.NZ), cementing her as one of Aotearoa’s most captivating new voices.
The single follows the release of her debut EP types of infatuation, which showcased her gift for detail-rich lyricism and melodic craft. With Tend To Your Wounds, Lavvender continues to carve out her place in the indie/alt scene, offering listeners a track that is both vulnerable and empowering.
