Her musical journey has spanned performing, teaching, and inspiring others through sound. After years as an educator, Judi founded the acclaimed corporate rock and blues band Famous Fish, performing at stadium gigs, blues festivals, and major corporate events – as well as intimate house concerts and weddings. During these “gigging years,” she honed her intuitive performance style, developing a deep understanding of energy, audience, and presence.
Building on that success, Judi went on to create kindyRock, a global music company dedicated to empowering early childhood educators through music. With an extensive library of original children’s songs and international training programs, kindyRock has helped thousands of teachers bring more confidence, creativity, and joy into their classrooms.
Now performing under the banner Soul Rocker, Judi is stepping into a new musical era – one that blends the heart of rock, blues, and soul with the transformative power of sound healing and spiritual awakening. Her debut Soul Rocker EP, Song of My Soul, is a journey through opening, shedding, awakening, and celebration – an invitation to experience shifts in consciousness simply by listening.
Her latest album, Wisdom of the Rose, continues this evolution – a powerful collection of songs that weave soulful melodies with spiritual depth. Each track is a sonic journey through awakening, devotion, and the sacred path of the heart, inviting listeners to remember their own inner wisdom and connection to the divine.
Judi lives in beautiful Kawakawa Bay, southeast of Auckland, where she continues to write, record, and share music that uplifts and transforms. She is a proud mum of five grown children and grandmother to five growing grandchildren.
