Displeasure is an industrial punk three-piece playing a hybrid of anarcho-punk and digital hardcore from Whanganui/Te-Whanganui-a-Tara. Buzz-saw guitars and scathing political vocals are propelled by heavy synth-bass and pounding electro-acoustic drums. Combining elements of hardcore punk, industrial gabber, d-beat, and new wave, Displeasure draws from the likes of DAF, Crass, Ministry and Devo, with a dose of Mortal Kombat soundtrack.
