Announcing Spring Sessions Tāhuna

Spring Sessions are a series of original music evenings showcasing original Tāhuna artists & musicians. The first night (featuring The QFO Experiment) saw Te Atamira’s Whakaari gallery be turned into an intimate dimly-lit living room. Curated by Tāhuna-born Violet Hirst, Spring Sessions hope to put a spotlight on the compositions made around their mountains.
November 8th is an electronic evening with the brass playing and dub-style of Trekkers Hotel (Henry Boyle). November 15th is a Wānaka take-over evening with loud-folk and alternative pop from sloer and Alcmist. Finishing the series is an evening of contemporary acoustic stories from Violet Hirst and two acts curtesy of Wakatipu High School – Central Otago Rockquest best song winners Littles Road Trio and Saige Galloway.
All sessions begin at 7pm at Te Atamira in Whakaari gallery.
$25 Adults / $15 Students
