Tiny Triumph Recordings Announces New Single ‘Come Home Darling’ from Toby Lloyd’s solo project Paper Mountains
Tiny Triumph Recordings is excited to announce the upcoming release of Come Home Darling, the debut single from Paper Mountains, the soulful folk project of renowned Music Producer Toby Lloyd. The single will be available everywhere on 31st October 2025.
Come Home Darling is the first glimpse into Paper Mountains’ forthcoming debut album An Olive Tree and a Warm Breeze, set for release in March 2026. The soul/folk leaning single is filled with soulful vocals, vibrant harmonies, uplifting horns, driving rhythms and acoustic guitars, having everything it needs to be the feel good song of the summer.
Hailing from Te-Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington), Lloyd’s solo project captures the raw emotion of missing a loved one and the ache of the longing that persists until they are back lovingly in your arms. This heartfelt singer-songwriter anthem beautifully encapsulates the tension, tenderness and hope inherent in love’s most intimate moments.
The album narrates a deeply personal journey through the highs and lows of love, from new found passion to friction and heartbreak, to healing and renewal, emerging stronger with each chapter.
Toby Lloyd’s vibrant career has seen him emerge as the founder of the much loved recording studio Tiny Triumph Recordings and collaborating with many of NZ’s top artists like Shapeshifter, Hollie Smith, Stan Walker, Troy Kingi, Rob Ruha, Blindspott, Louis Baker and many more as well as working in the sound teams for films such as The Hobbit Trilogy and Avatar 2.
“I’ve written and produced tracks for hundreds of artists but this is the first time the world has ever heard my voice on a record,” shares Lloyd. “I fell in love with my soulmate and the songs just started pouring out. I felt almost like a bystander in the process and watched them arise with a sheer wonder. For over a year I sat with the songs and now their time has finally come to be heard.”
